Newport batting first closed on 190-3 with the opening pair of Chris Vanos and captain Peter Clegg charged with getting the chase underway. The pair were never really in trouble as they comfortably reached the required target, with Chris finishing on 95n.o and Cleggy 91n.o.

On Friday evening the third event of the 125th Anniversary Celebrations took place at the Juboraj Restaurant in Rhiwbina.
A very relaxed and enjoyable curry was had by the 22 people who attended and the evening continued well after 11.00pm. Discussions were wide ranging from the forthcoming season to the Cricket Week and the Chairman welcomed everybody with a brief soliloquy entitled “Shakespeare a la Juboraj.”
Everybody was already looking forward to the pre season get together in the club house on Friday 24th April which will again be a Pizza evening and hopefully the first sign of the new scoreboards. domain value internet piracy statistics . domain webhosting . satellite maps best places to visit

Radyr CC is busy in the local community running cricket “taster sessions” in our local schools. Led by Tony Butlin, and assisted by Becky Thomas and Simon Coley, the Youth Section are running three taster sessions a week for for boys and girls at Radyr Primary and Bryn Deri. Over 90 children across the two schools are participating in these sessions. Tony, Becky and Simon are coaching basic introductory skills in batting, bowling and fielding. They end the final session with a mini game of cricket. Bryoych zbynek Tony will also be making a presentation in assembly to all of the Juniors in the two schools about Radyr CC.
In addition, Tony and Becky are running taster sessions in Radyr Comprehensive for girls in years 7 and 8 who are interested in finding out more about the game of cricket. Running over a four week period, sessions have lasted for an hour and a half each. These have been popular with the Radyr Comp girls, and we are hoping that a fair proportion will decide to join the club as a result.
Well done to Tony, Becky and Simon. It is great to see so many children having the opportunity to try our wonderful game.
