The Queens Cricket Team arrive in Radyr for the very first time. The Royal Household Cricket Club play almost all of their 50 odd games a year in the Private grounds of Windsor Castle. Teams are hosted from all around the World including Celebrity sides. Players such as Ponting, Warne, Flintoff, Holding, Pietersen, Strauss etc have all played at the beautiful ground.
Set up by Queen Victoria in 1903 the team are well supported today by both Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh who make regular visits to the ground and last year Princess’ William and Harry played their first game of Cricket at the Club.
We look forward to hosting the Royal Household Cricket Club at Radyr for what will be a momentous occasion!
