The future is bright at RCC

With the 2016 season now in full swing, we’d like to offer our congratulations to all the junior players who have made their debuts in senior cricket so far this season.

Alex Griffiths and Alfie Rogers made their debuts on Sunday April 24th vs Whitchurch. For the Rogers family this debut was made extra special as Mark (Alfie’s dad) played alongside Alfie.

On Saturday 30th April Archie Clegg and Taylor Burns made their debuts playing a friendly fixture vs Abercynon.

Finally on Sunday 8th May Jordan Bolderson and Jack Jones joined the debutants club when we played an away fixture vs Rogerstone. For the Jones family Jack’s debut was made even more prestigious as he took to the field alongside Dave (Jack’s dad) and his older brother (Will). This fixture saw 8 RCC junior members take to the field proving that the future is bright at RCC.

As a club we are extremely proud to have so many junior members surpassing this great milestone. We hope that Radyr CC will provide them with a great starting point for their journeys in senior cricket. We look forward to reporting on more junior debuts as the season progresses.
