Following a successful season our U13 golds finished 2nd in the A league and made it to finals day. A more perfect day couldn’t have been wished for – the sun shone, the team were fired up and the Barmy Army were ready to offer their support for the final outing of the 2016 outdoor season. So on Saturday 24th September Radyr U13 golds took to the field at St Fagans to take on Penarth in the final. The game that unfolded was full of suspense and drama and by the end of the 1st over the first wicket had fallen and Penarth were off to a shaky start. After 5 overs only 10 runs had been scored and by the half way mark Penarth were 27 https://www.viagrasansordonnancefr.com/viagra-prix/ for 4, then 45 for 5 off 15 overs and by the end of their innings had reached 73 for 6 off 20 overs.
It was certainly all to play for when Radyr took to the field for their innings with a seemingly achievable target to aim for. However after 10 overs it seemed a tall order as the score board read 25 for 2. Another few low scoring overs saw Radyr progress to 41 for 3 off 15 overs. As tension grew and the overs ticked by the tide turned and by over 17 we had reached 58. The Barmy Army were certainly entertained and kept enthralled until the last ball where Radyr claimed victory and I am told provided a far more entertaining game than the one played at Lords on the same day.
